Teeanelle Garden

LOCATION: Candelo (TBA)
ABOUT THE GARDEN
Teeanelle is a newly established cottage style country garden that forms part of our 36 acre alpaca farm set in the foothills of Tantawangalo Mountain. The Tantawangalo Creek marks the property's northern boundary. Surrounded by mountains of the Great Dividing Range, the property is quiet and peaceful with abundant birds and wildlife.

The property fell into disrepair as a result of the 2020 bushfires and COVID however this year has seen a flourish of activity to create and ready the garden for the Candelo Garden Trail. While the plants are young and the 'bones' are visible, Teeanelle has lots to see and hopefully inspire.

The house yard features a beautiful variety of trees, shrubs, roses and perennials to provide interest throughout the year. The garden is divided into various sections perfect for a gentle meander or relaxing sit-down in various spots and has a focus on outdoor living.

The wider garden includes a vegetable patch, perennial and native food beds, an orchard and woodyard all designed for a seasonal, more self-sufficient and sustainable rural lifestyle. A stroll to the creek reveals a beautiful secluded beach where cascades formed by the merger of Tantawangalo and Plum Creeks can be enjoyed.
