Jen’s Gym Candelo is a private training studio focusing on training the older adult (50+) in functional strength & mobility.

My name is Jen Holloway and I am a (50+) qualified Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach specialising in training the older (50+) adult. I love working with this demographic because they appreciate the importance of maximising their physical strength & mobility so they can continue to have an active lifestyle, and also because they are great fun to be with.

I am passionate about staying up-to-date with the most efficient and effective way to train this population. Functional strength becomes more critical as we age.

My focus is on using various types of resistance mimicking the activities of everyday living to build functional strength and mobility. I customise each workout based on my clients goals and physical limitations. I love helping people to get stronger and live a full and healthy life.

I strive to offer an intimate and comfortable environment to train in, and I aim to promote great social connections while you train, because working up a sweat is more fun (or more tolerable) when you enjoy who you are training with.

I offer Personal One-On-One and Semi-Private (2-3 people) training by appointment only.
